The Mighty Lemon Drops release a brand new single on Chrysalis Records on October 9th. Entitled "Beautiful Shame". It is backed with a vesrion of "At Midnight" which was recorded live (no overdubs) at bath Moles Club on 26th August this year. The 12" and CD versions include an extended version of "Beautiful Shame" and also include the live version of "At Midnight", as well as two additional tracks: "Forever Home At Heart" and "Like An Angel" (Live Club Version) as a bonus. The Band are currently following a hectic promotional schedule in the States where they were recently voted No 1 College Radio Act, surpassing Talking Heads and Morrissey, but return to Britain next week to embark on their UK tour.
