Welcome to "In Everything You Do", a resource I have put together about The Mighty Lemon Drops. These pages are spread into five sections:
(1) History - a brief history of the band.
(2) Discography - hopefully a definitive listing collated from the various sources I have used into putting these pages together.
(3) Gallery - scans of all covers available to me plus other items.
(4) Reviews - including interviews, concert reviews etc.
(5) Links - Including where you can hear sound clips, other bands web pages who were part of "c86" and a round up of some of the Internet resources I have used.
Site Navigation: The pages described above can be assessed by using the Droppies album cover buttons which can be found at the top of each page. The descriptions can be found under the buttons on this page only.
If there are any discrepancies or if you have any additions, cuttings or scans etc. please feel free to e-mail me. In fact all information is welcome and all contributors/sources will be credited.
10 October 2006. The Mighty Lemon Drops have reformed for a couple of C86 celebration gigs which are sadly across the pond. The line up is Dave Newton, Tony Linehan and Keith Rowley. Original vocalist Paul Marsh was not into the idea of playing anymore so Clint Mansell from fellow Black Country band Pop Will Eat Itself is on vocals. Support is from the BMX Bandits who called their debut album C86 after their entry for the C86 tape was rejected!
The dates are 17/11/2006 - San Francisco - Cafe Du Nord and 19/11/2006 - Los Angeles - The Echo
Both of these shows are co-presented by the folks at Part Time Punks, a weekly Sunday night club in LA who will be DJing C86 hits all night long. There may be a gig on the 18th in Santa Barbara and this will be confirmed either way later.
10 October 2006 - There is now a Mighty Lemon Drops My Space page where you can stream various Mighty Lemon Drop tracks.
04 April 2006 - Martin Gilks, ex drummer with the Wonder Stuff and briefly with the Mighty Lemon Drops has died following a Motorcycle accident. More from the BBC and No Rock & Roll Fun. This site sends it's condolences to his family

This is a piece of history I picked up recently - the Mighty Lemon Drops set during the C86 week at the ICA, London. I believe the date for this set was 25/07/1986. It's not the best recording in the world (it was recorded very low) but it's a worthwhile listen as it shows the band at their most shambolic such as taking ages tuning up between songs and being plagued by technical problems. This was a far cry from the tight knit professional live act they became in later months. Transferred from tape and encoded at lame 192 vbr.
Live at Newcastle University, 01/10/1986
Posted with the blessing of Dave Newton. Recording is "goodish" and is in mp3 at 128 k/bits. If you like it buy Young Gifted and Black Country
